Sometimes Windows breaks something horribly and you don’t know how to fix it. Sometimes, the only solution is to reinstall Windows, but FixWin can help resolve a lot of issues within Windows.
FixWin 1.2 for Vista and 7
FixWin started life as a tool to fix common problems with Windows Vista and 7, because there are so many things that can go wrong in Windows, and by pressing a button on the menu can fix a problem that has been bugging you for years. Microsoft hadn’t created their Fix-Its when FixWin was developed, and having a tool that could be used to fix all the bugs was beyond the interest of Microsoft.
FixWin 1.2 can be found here.
FixWin 2.0 for Windows 8 and 8.1
With the advent of Windows 8, Microsoft had introduced a whole set of new problems that needed to be fixed, with different error codes and strange behaviours.
